Grey Water System
The purpose of the Grey Water System is to filter the grey water produced by the various tribal septic systems as well as the grey water produced by the City of Canyonville:
- Goal: Process 700,000 gallons of grey water per day.
- Grey Water Sources:
- Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort grey water septic output.
- Seven Feathers Truck & Travel Center grey water septic output.
- Seven Feathers RV Resort septic output at full capacity.
- The City of Canyonville grey water output redirected from the South Umpqua River.
The Grey Water Flowchart depicts the main components in the Grey Water Subsystem.
As shown in the Flowchart above, the Grey Water Subsystem has the following components:
- Lagoon: 700,000 gallon per day capacity.
- 2.5 acre surface area.
- 24 feet deep.
- 60 mil liner.
- Lagoon Grey Water Input:
- Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort septic grey water.
- Seven Feathers Truck & Travel Center septic grey water.
- Seven Feathers RV Resort septic grey water.
- Grey Water Reservoir:
- Clay sealed.
- Grey Water Reservoir Input:
- Lagoon.
- City of Canyonville grey water.
- Grey Water Reservoir Output:
- Slightly chlorinated irrigation water for Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort, Seven Feathers Truck & Travel Center, the Seven Feathers RV Resort and Best Western Motel, and other Tribal holdings.
- Non-chlorinated fish enhancement water released into Jordan Creek and its tributaries.
